Tutors and Staff at Ridgeway College

 

The tutors at Ridgeway College are all experienced counsellors and academic staff are educated to minimum of diploma level and/or hold an adult trainers certificate. The tutors and staff presently working for the college are:

 

Dr Graham Cocking (Principal) who holds a Doctorate in the field of psychology, a MSc in Transpersonal Psychology, Bachelors Degree in Counselling Psychology, a Diploma in Crisis Counselling and various Diplomas in the talking therapies. He is the senior partner in G C Counselling Service and is the Registrar of Members and Founding Member of The International Society of Professional Counsellors. Graham is the Principal of Ridgeway College and a CCC Registered Counsellor. Graham has written a number of works for counselling journals and his thesis is ‘An Analysis of Memory (False or repressed)’.

Mrs Jane Kay (Vice Principal) who holds a Diploma in counselling and a BSC (Hons) Degree in psychology. Jane has worked as a PA in a large company and is a Fellow Member of the International Society of Professional Counsellors. Jane is a CCC Registered Counsellor.

Miss Vivienne Edwards (Manager) who holds certificates in counselling, management an computer skills. Working in management for many years Vivienne has developed interpersonal skills helping staff through personal and professional issues.

Dr Kenneth Bryden Wood (Faculty Director) who holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Studies, a Masters Degree in Laws and a Doctorate in International Marketing. He serves as an advisor to the college and is a member of the faculty accreditation board.
