College Accreditation & Professional Membership

The College has applied for and been granted accreditation from three professional bodies. The accreditation is for recognition in three core areas. These being professional accreditation within the field of counselling, accreditation of course material and of course content and accreditation of the managerial professionalism in course structure.

International Society of Professional Counsellors (ISPC)

The ISPC is a professional body in the field of Counselling and Counselling Psychology. The ISPC awards accreditation to students of counselling and qualified counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapists and most of the talking therapies. The ISPC also awards accreditation to Colleges teaching counselling skills and theory.  ISPC has provided accreditation to Ridgeway College for its professional approach to teaching counselling skills and theory.

College of Management Science London (School of Psychology)

The CMSL School of Psychology is a provider of post-secondary education programmes for adults, and a research foundation. It provides assessment-based programmes using systems following those recommended by the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning. The CMSL therefore provides accreditation to Ridgeway College’s course content from a psychological perspective.

Faculty of Management Science

The Faculty of Management Science is an independent educational and research body. The Faculty has three main activities. Firstly, it facilitates research and the exchange of information in the field of management. Secondly, it provides accreditation of individual members in the field of management and thirdly, the Faculty provides assessment and certification of member organisations, both in structure of their management skills and style and their delivery. The Faculty has granted its accreditation to Ridgeway College for the management procedures of the college and its grading process of students work.
